Ciao! My name is Chiara. A native of Firenze, Italia, I have lived in in the US since 2007 - three in San Diego, California before relocating to Charlotte.

Prior to moving to America, I worked in the travel industry, extensively using my foreign language skills (I speak French and German too!) in assisting business travelers and vacationers.

However, teaching my language, the traditions of my country and everything that is Italiano is what I love to do the most! Would you like to share my passion?

Spero di sė!

The Festival of the Rificolona is an event in Florence where a procession of the city youth continue an old custom of carrying unusually and bizarrly shaped lanterns of colored paper on top of a cane rod.
Chiara tutored my grandson in Italian for three years... We return to Italy yearly and Italians who do not know him believe it to be his mother tongue. Comments have been made that he speaks English well for an Italian boy!
