Spaghetti aglio e olio ready to eat!
Spaghetti with garlic and olive oil (spaghetti aglio e olio) is a very easy traditional Italian dish that can be made cheaply. Said to originate traditionally from the region of Abruzzo, it is popular across the country.

Usually served with spaghetti, even better if "thin spaghetti"(spaghettini) cooked al dente in salted water (acqua salata). The sauce is made by lightly sautéing a sliced garlic clove in a few spoons of extra virgin olive oil (olio extra vergine di oliva) until browned and has flavored the oil.

Once dished up, according to your taste, some crushed red pepper (peperoncino) or some fresh chopped parsley can be sprinkled on top.

Buon appetito!
